I am so excited that a new school year is underway. That means more kids learning and having fun 
with chess! Having chess in school is a great way to gain critical thinking skills. Those are important skills to have and use all your life; like thinking ahead, analyzing, and planning.
At the end of last year I had a great time visiting schools in Reno, Nevada, Chicago, Illinois, and Boone County, Kentucky. I hope to visit many more schools this year! Let me know if you would like a Chess Lady visit at your school.
Don’t forget to go online and play the pawn game or a full game of chess. Your teacher will give you a password so you can play from any computer. Remember, have fun, work hard, and always do your best!
