On Thursday May 10th, 2012 America's Foundation for Chess hosted their first annual Chess Rocks! fundraising event. The event was hosted at DeLille Cellars in Woodinville, WA and featured catering by Rovers with Thierry Routureau as Chef in the Hat and music by Michael Wastman. The event kicked off with appetizers paired with beautiful DeLille wines and later dinner was served under the tent in the gardens. The food was decadent and the cause was clear. Chess Rocks! aimed to reach new donors as well as bring awareness about the funding deficit for enrichment programs in our nations schools to the forefront. The event was a success!
