Support First Move

America’s Foundation for Chess is fortunate to have a great fundraising partner in See Your Impact (SYI).  See Your Impact works in the United States and around the world to help non-profits in their fundraising efforts.  Through See Your Impact, donors can support one First Move student at $7 for an entire year of chess, a full First Move class at $210, or any combination they choose.  Within two weeks of making a donation, a thank you letter and story is sent to the donor explaining the difference their donation made, hence, you “see your impact.”   Seven dollars may be two lattes for some people, but for many of our kids, it’s a year-long experience, a chess set of their own, increased self-esteem, improved critical thinking skills, and the chance to find school engaging.
